now that i've had a camera for nearly a year, my computer is LOADED with photos. as many of you know, i'm a photography-freak =P and love taking non-professional photos. so i decided to post some of them on my blog...sure beats the B&W writing!
tomorrow i start my 3rd rotation in Internal Medicine. this is otherwise known as adult inpatient medicine, for those sick sick patients that have to stay overnight in the hospital. it's probably the most comprehensive of all the rotations in terms of medical knowledge, so i'm sure i'll learn a lot. hopefully i'll have fun things to post about too!
i'm back in CT after being "stuck" in CA (not that i minded at all!) for 2 additional weeks. i finally got crankin' on my thesis entitled, "the effects of breakfast consumption on the development of type 2 diabetes in adolescents ages 10-18." reason i'm interested is that since college, i've been lazy and running too far behind to eat a nice breakfast, and one of my friend said that could lead to diabetes for me! since i already have a family history of it, i immediately became concerned, thus the personal rationale behind my study. i wrote the rough draft of chap 1 and 3 (intro and methods), and of course left chap 2 (review of lit), the longest chap by far, to write. i'll turn in what i have so far...final draft due jan 2, 2006, so i better get crankin'!
nothing much else to say for now, weather here in CT is beautiful, but it's back to work. enjoy the photos and short captions!
